Audio walking tour apps, compared honestly.

There are several good audio-tour apps and they are not all trying to do the same thing. Each page below says what the other app does well, where it stops, and — plainly — when you should use it instead of PodWalk. We don’t quote competitors’ prices, because those change and a stale number is worse than none.

The short version: the others sell you a finished tour where they have one. PodWalk writes a walk for anywhere on Earth, at the length and on the theme you choose. That’s the whole difference, and it matters most for places nobody has recorded.
